Mayur, which is Hindi for peacock, is another new arrival. He's an Indian Blue Peacock and was a rescue bird so we don't really know how old he is, but he must be at least three years old as he has a full tail. He is currently living in the outdoor runs built onto the main chicken house. It is not really suitable for him as there are internal dividers which he has to negotiate with his beautiful tail. When he displays he nearly reaches the roof which is 6' 6". We will build another area without the dividers so he can show off comfortably to his wife when we find him one.
