Marsh Daisy

General Description: Large (2Kg-2.95Kg)
This bird was created by Mr J Wright of Southport in the 1880’s and improved by Mr C Moore. Old English Game, Malay, black Hamburgh, white Leghorn and the Sicilian Buttercup all feature in its ancestry. There are no bantams of this breed. It is a rare, light large fowl. It is upright, bold and active. The Marsh Daisy is a moderate layer and good forager.
