Created by Reginald Appleyard in 1932 and named
after the Suffolk village. It is an excellent bird for table and egg laying.
Both large and bantam birds are available. An alert, active and well balanced
bird. The body is deep and well rounded with the back long and flat, without too
prominent a slope to the tail. Feathers white; skin, legs and feet flesh white;
eyes, face and comb bright red.
