Autosexing

An autosexing breed is one in which the chicks at hatching can be sexed by their down colouring.
Standards have been passed by the Poultry Club are gold & silver Brussbar; Brockbar; gold & silver & cream Legbar; gold & silver Cambar; gold & silver Dorbar; Rhodebar; silver Welbar; Wybar.

Welbar

General Description: Rare Breed Large (2.25Kg-3.4Kg)  Bantam (745g-900g)
Produced from a Welsummer hen and a Barred Rock Male, this bird is upright, alert and active with tight, silky plumage. The legs and feet are free from feathers and the thighs show clear of the body.

Wybar

General Description: Rare Breed Large (2.5Kg-4.1Kg)  Bantam (790g-1.02Kg)
Produced from a Wyandotte hen and a Barred Rock Male, this bird is short, deep and well rounded. Shanks strong, well rounded and free from feathers and the thighs well covered with soft feathers. Close, silky plumage.
