General Description: Large (2.25Kg-2.95Kg)  Bantam (510g-680g)
This breed originally came from the Mediterranean region, named after the province in Italy. Alert, bold and active and is considered related to the Leghorn family being similar to the original Mottled Leghorn.
Tail and wings are large and carried well out. Comb can be single or rose and wattles are long and fine. The female single comb should fall gracefully to the side. A good layer and a useful bird.
